I redid the caulk around our tub! :D

This took me about a week with life and letting it dry and such... but I am proud of the outcome and it looks a lot better than the before! :D It wasn't the easiest thing...and a TIP: use less caulk than you think you need and use your finger tip to smooth it out in one long stroke....ALSO....use painters tape to keep the edges straight and pull it off while caulk is still wet! :D Enjoy!

Concert at Christian Bookstore w/ friends - August 27, 2011

we met up with some friends for a small concert of Christian artists at a bookstore.

They also have a new baby that we got to hold! :D

I was so captivated with Dwight holding the baby that I dont have any pics of Anne Rob and Steven on my phone!

Dwight has one of me and Anne Rob and the baby...but Ill have to add that later! :D

Good times with Good friends and a CUTE baby! :D

My Birthday Present Wish List Trip - August 24, 2011

So I stopped by one of my favorite antique stores and walked around and took pics of things I liked and would be a great gift for me... I did this mainly for dwight who says I am hard to shop for... idk maybe he is right! anywho... i didn't end up showing him these pics... but I did tell him there was a kewl old camera (which i collect) there... I just love walking around the store... its just full of history and peoples stories. :)

update: he did very well with my present....and ended up getting me several things... 2 of which i took pics of an he didnt even know it! :D the camera and the flag stool! :D I Love him!

Scentsy Party at Kellys - August 18. 2011

So a friend of ours now sells Scentsy! So my sister hosted a party for her... and so we got to smell all the goodies! :D

I especially enjoyed learning that if you sniff coffee beans it... as I called it "cleans your nose"....HA!

I discovered i love "my dear watson" and "Luna"... so many good smells to choose from! :D

I now have a burner in my house (that my mom gave me for my birthday!) and plan on more and plan on selling Scentsy Online only soon! :D

Thats a lot of groceries! :D

this is the cereal we all dreamed of as a child... JUST berries! :D woohoo! :D

I believe this is a shopping trip that included supplies for the 4th of July party! :D

Fun dinner and movie night with K bug! :D June 29, 2011

We went to eat at Taco Bell and she was showing us her loose tooth!!! :D All her friends are loosing teeth and so now she wants to too!

We then went to see Cars 2... and she fell asleep...and by the end of the movie was wrapped in my sweater and laying across both of us! :D

We ended up glad she fell asleep as the movie was full of propaganda about the "big evil oil companies" and when I asked her if she understood what was going on she said no and went to sleep. she is 5...why must they fill the kids movies will all this stuff? Not only was it negative to oil companies (which makes no sense anyways because they are CARS!....but i digress!) .... there as violence and fighting and just not what we expected after the first Cars...being so great! :/ Oh well. Like I said... good thing she fell asleep!

Dwight had to carry her out of the theater and to the car... she was OUT ... it was hilarious! :D Love hanging out with her!

The start of GBRYR June 28, 2011

We have joined a "young republicans" group. It does not officially have a name as we are in the start up phase and working towards getting chartered. However Dwight and I were both elected as board members to help get the group started! :D It is really important to us that young people get involved... if they don't ... if WE don't... then where will our voice be??...it will be silent. We need to be involved and vocal and vote NOW to protect our future and our childrens futures.

I finally hung up some things in the hall way! :D And I fixed the out of balance mirror situation we had going on in the dining room...pics are before/afters :D .... annnnd I found a cute mail holder that i think will help with out mail stack issue! :D All in time for out 4th of july party....nothing gets your butt in gear like having a party! :D

Road Trip to N.O. - June 27, 2011

We took a road trip with Dwights family to meet up with a his cousin in New Orleans who was in town for work. We went to eat at Drago's which happened to be attached to the hotel we stayed in for RLC! :D Kalyn Loves to hold Dwights hand but she does NOT like me sneaking a picture!!! hahaha... I just love to watch him with her...He will be so great with our kids one day. :) ONE DAY! ;)

Free mulch and got a rain barrel June 25, 2011

Once again updating and will soon post date the blogs so they show in order! :D ....

So we went and got a trailer full of FREE mulch we will use to redo our flower bed in the front of the house.

We also purchased a rain barrel! I have been wanting on of these for a LONG time! :D We are going to eventually have a little herb or veggie garden and we will use this water for that! :D

Republican Leadership Conference June 16-18, 2011

I know I am late in posting this...but i am updating our year and blogging about important events I didnt get a chance to blog about yet. I want to AT LEAST get them posted THIS year! ha.

These are pics from the Republican Leadership Conference 2011...Dwight and I were blessed to be able to work the conference and also be able to attend it. I also had a press pass and was able to meet several of the speakers! I got signatures from several as well. I may add more pictures later as these are what I have on my phone so they are easy to upload. Dwight and I had a great time and are really just enjoying being married and able to go on trips like this and stay in the SAME room instead of having to drive back and forth to New Orleans like we did the year before! :D
