Master Bedroom Mini Makeover…One step at a time!

When I moved in to what had been “Dwight’s house” the merging of our things started!  The process of figuring out what we wanted where and what colors we would use in each room and all of those types of things started too!  He did not have curtains up in the master bedroom…sooo it was KINDA bright…and I like it DARK when I sleep soooo I put up the curtains I owned already in the mean time….buuuuut they didn’t really go with the new bedding we got as a wedding present!:So I decided to get some curtains with the money we got in exchange for returned gifts…(we had registered with the hopes of selling the house and having an apartment in Baton Rouge…but that did not work out so some gifts were not usable in the house). I got one set on a whim and brought them home only to discover… WRONG color!!! sooo they didn’t even make it up on the rods for a photo! The next time I went with a plan and brought a pillow cover with me to help me decide!I went with the blue! Got them home and hung them up…. and Love them! My next goal is to move the bed to the wall on the right… it is a blank wall… I want to move the bed to give us more space in the room and ALSO so we can have a headboard!  That post will be coming soon… making a headboard out of 2 bi-fold louver doors!
